Short Stack: Chicago’s Tiny Dance Film Festival celebrates the intersection of experimental artmaking, concision, and movement-based storytelling. Hosted by Chicago-based modern dance company Project Bound Dance, the festival will feature a panel-curated selection of original, independent and underground films with run times under 10 minutes created by local, national, and international artists.

The FIFTH iteration of Short Stack will take place at FACETS in Chicago, IL on Friday, October 23, 2026, and will also feature the 8 original “Tiny Dance Films” created as part of The One Hour Project, an exercise that invites Chicago dance and video creators to create a micro, site-specific dance film.
