Ready to lead, speak up, and make a difference? The Girls Inc. of Orange County Ambassador Program lets you represent Girls Inc., take on powerful advocacy topics, and turn your ideas into action. As an Ambassador, you’ll team up with other changemakers to create a project that sparks real impact in your community.
Program Activities: Develop a student-led advocacy project to address an issue in your community and represent Girls Inc. during community events/opportunities.
We are looking for a selection of students who have previously participated in at least one GIOC program or event.
Requirements:
- Participate in all required twice/monthly sessions (with two excused absences only)
- Participate in at least one recruitment event per quarter
- Participate in at least one advocacy event per quarter (field trip, guest speaker, etc.)
Meeting times:
One virtual AND one in-person meeting on Wednesdays, twice a month from October 2026 to April 2027. In person meetings are from 5:30-6:45pm, and virtual meetings are from 5:00 to 6:00pm.
APPLICATION DUE September 12th, 2026 @ 11:59PM
We will be reviewing applications and choosing select applicants for an interview.
