Petals to Pendants: A Flower Pressing Workshop with Courtney Barnes

Join us for a morning of friends and flowers as we learn from artist Courtney Barnes. Courtney owns Evermore Pressed Bouquets and designs jewelry, framed memories, and more from pressed flowers. She will guide us in making a dried flower pendant or key chain that participants will take home. These pieces will be filled with resin and cured during the workshop time.

You will then tour the Josephine Sculpture Park to source foliage and flowers to practice the art of pressing flowers. Supplies for the jewelry will be provided, but you are welcome to bring flowers you would like pressed. Please bring a thick book to take your pressings home in.

This is a rain or shine event. The workshop will take place and start in the event barn - the large tobacco barn to the left near the entrance of the park.

All ages are welcome. Children under age 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
