About This Event
Join Ed Dominguez and explore the saltwater and forested habitats of Carkeek Park in King County. We will start at the trail sign near the Carkeek pump station. We will plan to walk along Piper's Creek looking for nesting songbirds with a focus on birding by ear. Then we will go over the steel footbridge above the railroad tracks and explore the creek embayment for birds on the Sound. All are welcome; I will have good things to share for newer birders and experienced bird lovers as well!
