About This Event

Come birding with Charlotte Byers and Melinda Baker in the park at the north end of Lake Ballinger. The park features a lake with a fishing pier and a mile and a half of trails, some paved, some not, going along the lake shore and by ponds, particularly at the west end. In June, there will be the birds you would expect in this kind of location: Wood Duck, Virginia Rail, Osprey and Kingfisher are all possible. Also flycatchers, Warbling Vireo, Cedar Waxwing, Black-headed Grosbeak, and warblers.
