We're thrilled to have you join us for Putts for Paws benefiting San Antonio Pets Alive! on Monday, June 1 at The Dominion Country Club.
We’re looking forward to an incredible day of golf, networking, great food, and supporting SAPA!’s lifesaving work across San Antonio. Beyond rescuing vulnerable dogs and cats, SAPA! plays a critical role in helping San Antonio remain a compassionate, thriving, no-kill community.
A few helpful details ahead of tournament day:
Location and Parking Map:
LOCATION The Dominion Country Club 1 Dominion Drive, San Antonio, TX 78257
PARKING DIRECTION IMPORTANT Please follow these directions carefully, as there are multiple entrances and the first lot is NOT the correct golf parking area.
- Once you turn onto Dominion Drive, continue past the first/main entrance lot.
- Take the SECOND entrance near the tennis court area.
- Look for tournament signage directing you into the correct lot.
- Once inside, head LEFT toward the golf bag drop and tournament registration area.
We have a fantastic lineup of local vendors setting up booths right in the main tournament area! They will be fully ready for you starting at 7:30 AM. Arrive early to walk through, network, and see what our community partners have to offer before the shotgun start.
TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE:
- 7:30 AM — Registration & Vendor Village open, breakfast tacos/coffee, driving range warm-up, and the San Antonio-themed Impossible Putt Challenge.
- 9:00 AM — Shotgun start (18-hole, 4-person scramble).
- Post-round (~1:30 - 2:00 PM) — Clubhouse seated BBQ lunch, awards, raffle drawings, and a brief live auction led by Vogt Auction Galleries.
WHAT’S INCLUDED WITH YOUR TICKET:
- 18 holes of golf + golf cart
- Breakfast tacos, fruit, coffee, and morning refreshments
- Complimentary drink ticket (Beer/canned spritzers included; full cocktails available for purchase)
- 1 raffle ticket
- Seated clubhouse BBQ lunch (Brisket, chicken, potato salad, cornbread, and pecan pie!)

- $1,000 cash prize for the first hole-in-one!
- $500 cash prize for the overall lowest score.
ATTIRE & WEATHER:
At The Dominion Country Club, we ask that all players wear a nicely taken care of Polo (no holes/tears), along with proper golf bottoms (shorts or pants that cover everything that needs to be). We do not allow denim in our golf carts or on the golf course. All hats must be worn correctly, with the bill facing forward, at all times in and around the club and on the course. We don’t allow sandals to be worn while playing on our course for safety reasons. Golf attire is encouraged. June temperatures in San Antonio warm up quickly, so we highly recommend sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, and staying hydrated. Water stations and beverages will be available throughout the course.
