Event Overview:
Come swing a club and make a difference at the 6th Annual BrAvery for Avery Golf Tournament at Valley Country Club in Warwick, RI — a day of golf, community, and hope as we honor Avery’s legacy and help #curekrabbe.
This special event honors the life and legacy of Avery Coupe while raising funds to advance research and support efforts to #curekrabbe. Guests will enjoy a meaningful day of golf, community, raffles, and remembrance — all coming together for children and families impacted by Krabbe disease.
Avery was diagnosed with Krabbe disease in 2019 after months of searching for answers as she began losing developmental milestones. Despite the devastating diagnosis, Avery’s family filled her life with love, comfort, and joy while caring for her at home surrounded by family, friends, and support from the Krabbe community. Avery passed away on May 2, 2020, but her story continues to inspire action, awareness, and hope.
Since its creation, the BrAvery for Avery Fund has helped raise critical support for Krabbe disease research and family assistance programs through KrabbeConnect. Thanks to incredible community support, this golf tournament has become a cherished annual event bringing people together to make a difference in Avery’s memory.
Through sponsorships, raffle donations, and participation, every contribution helps move us closer to better treatments and ultimately a cure for Krabbe disease.
Tournament Schedule
A. Registration Time: 11:30am - 1:00pm
You can arrive anytime between 11:30 am - 1:00 PM
- Club drop off and check-in
- Raffle Tickets
- Cure Tickets (Par 3 Challenge)50/50 Tickets will be available for purchase
- Lunch will be served on the clubhouse patio featuring selections fresh from the grill.
B. Shot Gun Start at 1:30 sharp!
C. Dinner and Auction begins around 6:30pm
