Qigong is an ancient Chinese practice that combines slow movements, deep breathing and mindful intention. Together they help to balance our internal energy, strengthen our muscles, improve circulation and mobilize joints. It is also referred to as the “Life Force Energy” that improves health and increases vitality while helping to reduce stress.
Please bring a water bottle, wear light breathable clothing, a towel to sit on for meditation.
Instructor: Dyan Sierra
I have been training to become a Qigong instructor with Holden Qigong so that I may share the beauty of qigong with others. It has truly changed my life and how I deal with stress and I love knowing that I am doing something great for my body, mind and spirit as I practice. My quality of life has improved greatly since practicing qigong.
During the first half of class we “activate” our “Qi” which is our internal energy that can become stuck or stagnant. During the second half of class we move our bodies to “flow” movements that are relaxing and help to calm the mind and nervous system. “I move my Qi and my Qi moves me.” So come “Qi With Me” as we take in the beauty of the nature around us and discover a new more powerful and balanced you.
