QURBANI 2026

Qurbani - Dhul Hijjah 2026

What is Qurbani?

Qurbani means sacrifice. Each year during the blessed month of Dhul Hijjah, Muslims around the world honour the legacy of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and his willingness to sacrifice his son, Prophet Ismail (AS), in obedience to Allah.

To commemorate this act of devotion, eligible Muslims sacrifice an animal, such as a goat, sheep, cow, or camel. Its meat is then distributed to those in need. It is an act of gratitude and compassion, ensuring that even the most vulnerable can share in the joy of Eid.

Fulfil Your Qurbani with Ease

This Dhul Hijjah, Indus Hospital & Health Network is here to help you fulfil this noble obligation with ease and confidence. Animals are sourced and sacrificed in accordance with Islamic principles, under strict hygiene standards, and fresh meat is distributed promptly to communities in need.

By booking your Qurbani with Friends of Indus Hospital, you will help some of the world’s most vulnerable and disadvantaged communities experience the joy of Eid. For many families, this is the only time in the year they can enjoy meat.
