Richmond Animal League’s Calendar Contest raises funds to support pets in need through lifesaving programs. For two months, the public can enter and vote for their favorite pets—$1 equals 1 vote. The top 12 winners receive a professional photoshoot with Brittany Rose Petography and a featured month in RAL’s 2026 calendar. Thanks to sponsors and participants, last year’s contest raised over $80,000!

RAL provides care, medical treatment, and housing to pets until adoption, helping lower euthanasia rates by taking in animals from local shelters with limited resources.

This year's contest will run from July 28 to September 27, culminating at Fall Fest (Sept. 27), where calendar sponsors can host a booth and connect with supporters. The Top 12 winners will be revealed at Fall Fest. 

Fall Fest will take place at Richmond Animal League on Saturday, Sept. 27 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.
