Richmond Animal League’s RALendar Contest raises funds to support pets in need through lifesaving programs. For two months, the public can enter and vote for their favorite pets—$1 equals 1 vote. The top 12 winners receive a professional photoshoot with Brittany Rose Petography and a featured month in RAL’s 2026 RALendar. Thanks to sponsors and participants, last year’s contest raised over $97,000!

RAL provides care, medical treatment, and housing to pets until adoption, helping lower euthanasia rates by taking in animals from local shelters with limited resources. In addition to rescue & adoption services, RAL also provides affordable spay & neuter for the community.

This year's contest will run from July 27 to September 26, culminating at RAL's Woofstock Festival (Sept. 26) where the top 12 Calendar Contest winners will be announced. 

Business of the Month Sponsorship - $1,000

• Each month of the 2027 RALendar features one local business
• Feature includes logo, description, & QR code 
• QR code can be used to offer special promotions
• Brief description of your business and/or highlights you want to feature
• Choice of month on a first come, first serve basis
• Receive 5 calendars as part of your sponsorship 
• Company logo on the Calendar Contest webpage on RAL’s website for at least the duration of the contest: July 27-Sept. 27.
