R.A.D. Women’s Self-Defense Training

Join us for a 4-week Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.) training course, generously offered free of charge by the Noblesville Police Department (NPD) and hosted by Ignite at our Center 4 Community.

R.A.D. is a nationally recognized women's self-defense program built on education, awareness, risk reduction, and personal empowerment. Designed for women of all ages and abilities, this course combines classroom instruction, group discussion, and hands-on physical defense techniques.

Designed for women age 16 and up (under 18 must have a female parent or guardian present)

Class Schedule: Our Wednesday classes consist of four 2-hour sessions (8 hours total). Because the program progressively builds your skills each week, we ask that you commit to attending all 4 classes:

• Wednesday, August 5th | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

• Wednesday, August 12th | 6:000 PM – 8:00 PM

• Wednesday, August  19th | 6:000 PM – 8:00 PM

• Wednesday, August 26st | 6:000 PM – 8:00 PM

What to Expect: The program assumes no prior self-defense experience. You will learn from highly motivated NPD instructors passionate about building confidence and teaching practical tools. The course culminates in dynamic, realistic simulations where you can safely practice your new skills against trained "aggressors" wearing specialized safety equipment.

• Every participant receives a R.A.D. Basic Physical Defense manual.

• Upon successful completion, you become eligible for the R.A.D. Systems Lifetime Return and Practice Policy, allowing you to retake any authorized R.A.D. Basic Physical Defense course anywhere in the country for free, for life.

Registration & Donations: While the training itself is free through the NPD, a suggested donation of $20 will appear at registration. Ignite is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supported by local partners and individual giving; 100% of these donations go directly toward providing free therapy to the women in our program.
