Northern Stars Planetarium's Night Sky Tours

About This Event

John Meader, owner of The Northern Stars Planetarium, will lead a night sky tour. Learn about constellations, galaxies, and much more! 

January | February | March Night Sky Snowshoe at the Rangeley Lakes Trails Center

A 1-hr session for up to 25 participants will be offered each date.  

  • Registration is required. Tickets are $5.
  • Snowshoes at the Rangeley Lakes Trails Center may be reserved in advance for $5. 

April | Virtual Night Sky Tour 

July | August at Quill Hill 

Two 1-hr sessions for up to 25 participants will be offered each date. 

  • Registration is required. Tickets per session are $5.
  • You will need to bring a printed receipt.
  • NSP will provide telescopes. 
  • Participants are asked to bring a lawn chair and to leave flashlights and pets at home.

Weather | We’ll host a virtual sky tour at 8 PM if the weather doesn’t cooperate, regardless of the original start time. The link will be sent in the registration confirmation.  

Binoculars | Participants are encouraged to bring 7×50 or more significant binoculars

Pets | Leave at home
