On Sunday, May 17, 2026, the STAR Foundation will host our 6th Annual Family Fun Day and Community event at Lewisboro Town Park, to benefit the Salla Treatment and Research Foundation and to celebrate our partnerships with childhood rare disease researchers at our beloved Children's Hospital at Montefiore, the Rose F. Kennedy Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Research Center at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and researchers around the world working on therapies for Salla Disease.
What can you expect at RARE? A day full of fun for the entire family, rain or shine! Your ticket includes:
- Petting Zoo and Pony Rides
- A Broadway Illusionist
- Fire truck and police car tours
- T-Shirt Tie-Dye station
- Face painting, arts & crafts & hot dogs on the grill
- Wine and beer tasting and a fun auction and raffles for the grownups
- New this year Farmer's Market booths and "The Bubble Bus"!
Join us for this wonderful day to celebrate family, community and hope.
Event attendees voluntarily participate in activities and acknowledge inherent risks. Attendees agree to release Salla Treatment and Research Foundation (STAR) from liability for any injuries or damages.
