You are invited to join us in celebrating the continued impact of Reading and Beyond, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering children and families to build self-reliant and thriving lives. For over two decades, Reading and Beyond has provided transformative programs that support individuals from early childhood through career development. This year’s annual fundraiser will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2026, in partnership with Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater for a performance of Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. Buddy Holly’s short but extraordinary career reminds us that talent, perseverance, and vision can transcend barriers and inspire generations. His boldness to break musical boundaries created new opportunities and gave voice to a new era. At Reading and Beyond, we share that same spirit of transformation. Just as Holly’s music opened doors that once seemed out of reach, we work to break the cycle of generational poverty by focusing on education and careers—providing families with the tools, skills, and opportunities they need to thrive. Through literacy, learning, and workforce development, we help children and families find their voice, build their future, and create lasting change for generations to come. |
