Refuge KC Pastor's Luncheon

Registration ends Thursday, 06/11/2026 12:00am EDT

Is Your Church Equipped To Serve Refugees In Your Community?

Refugees are scattered across Kansas City and are eagerly seeking friendship and community. Do your church members know where to go when they meet a refugee who moved to their neighborhood? Is your church equipped to serve these refugees practical and spiritual needs?

Refuge KC through a decade of experience has developed replicable programing and resources to mobilize local churches to welcome, serve, and connect with refugees in their community.

The Mission Field in Kansas City

Kansas City is home to hundreds of Refugees from around the world. Our New American Neighbors represent countries such as Afghanistan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Somolia, Burma, Iraq, and so many more. Many of these refugees  come from the 10-40 window, an area closed off and often dangerous to those with a desire to know or share the gospel. Many of these New American Neighbors have never even met a professing Christian, let alone heard the gospel. We believe that God in his mercy has brought our friends from across the globe so that they may have the opportunity to know and join His kingdom. Through our ministry, Refuge KC seeks to connect every refugee with an identifiable Christian friend

Meet Fellow Co-Laborers

Join us for an afternoon of fellowship, encouragement, and insight as pastors from across the Kansas City Metroplex gather. Connect with other missions-minded ministry leaders as we share  and celebrate the work that God is doing among Refugees in Kansas City. We hope that whether you are attending for the first time, or have partnered with us from the beginning, the Pastors Luncheon will be a source of encouragement and direction for the universal church to take together as we seek to share the help and hope of God’s Kingdom.
