Are you a Veteran or civilian athlete with a physical disability looking to try something new? Join us for a FREE Co-Ed Learn to Play Wheelchair Football Clinic and discover one of the fastest-growing adaptive sports.

Date: Saturday, Sept. 26
Time: 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM

Indianapolis, IN 46216

No experience is necessary. Athletes will learn the fundamentals of wheelchair football through fun, engaging drills led by nationally recognized wheelchair football coach Kevin Lynott, a USA Football Master Trainer and Move United Wheelchair Football Lead Instructor.

You'll learn skills including:

  • Lateral partner throws
  • Acceleration drills
  • Contested receiver drills
  • And more

Cost: Free, thanks to a Move United Grant.

Equipment Provided:

  • Sports wheelchairs
  • Footballs
  • Expert instruction

Helmets and additional safety equipment are not required for this clinic.

Meet Your Instructor

Kevin Lynott is a USA Football Master Trainer, Move United Wheelchair Football Lead Instructor, and member of the Maryland High School Football Coaches Hall of Fame. He has coached athletes of all ages and abilities, from beginners to Paralympic-level competitors, leading wheelchair football clinics across the country with one mission:

"This game belongs to you."

Eligibility

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Able to independently propel a manual sports wheelchair
  • No head, neck, or back bracing required
  • Able to manage personal care independently or with the assistance of a companion
  • Able to follow directions and actively participate in drills
  • Able to communicate effectively independently or with assistance from a companion or coach
