Presented by Heartland Conservation Alliance

Butterfly Landings Volunteer Planting Day (Morning Shift)

About This Event

Join Heartland Conservation Alliance, Habitat Architects, and Bonny In Time for a hands-on day of restoration along the Blue River’s east bank!

As part of Renewing the Blue, volunteers will help bring Butterfly Island South to life by planting approximately 1,200 native plants designed to provide food and habitat for butterflies, pollinators, and other wildlife. Led by Lindsay Hoyt of Bonny In Time, this community planting will help transform a section of the Blue River Trail into a beautiful Butterfly Landing—a place where people can pause, connect with nature, and experience the restoration of the Blue River firsthand.

No experience is necessary. Come ready to get your hands in the soil and be part of a restoration project that will grow for years to come.
