How to Make Your Gift

Thank you for being part of the Reno Rodeo Foundation's 40th anniversary celebration!

We've created three special giving opportunities to celebrate 40 years of changing lives and help provide comfort, essential resources, and opportunities for children and young adults experiencing adversity across Northern Nevada.

Please review the instructions below before making your donation. Each giving opportunity has different payment options, and we want to make sure your gift is set up exactly as you intend.

STEP 1: Choose Your Giving Opportunity

THE 1986 CLUB
$1,986 Per Year

The 1986 Club is an exclusive annual giving society honoring the year the Reno Rodeo Foundation was founded.

Members receive special recognition, a personalized membership certificate, a collectible members-only pin featuring a new design each year, and an invitation to an exclusive annual 1986 Club event.

You can participate in one of four ways:

Option 1: One-Time Annual Gift | $1,986
Make your full $1,986 contribution in a single payment, without automatic renewal.

  • Donation amount: $1,986
  • Donation frequency: ONE-TIME
  • You will be charged once.

Option 2: Recurring Annual Gift | $1,986
Make your full annual contribution in one payment and automatically renew your membership each year.

  • Donation amount: $1,986
  • Donation frequency: ANNUAL
  • You will be charged $1,986 once each year until you cancel.

Option 3: Recurring Quarterly Gift | $496.50
Spread your annual commitment across four quarterly contributions.

  • Donation amount: $496.50
  • Donation frequency: QUARTERLY
  • You will be charged $496.50 every three months, totaling $1,986 per year.
  • Payments continue automatically until you cancel.

Option 4: Recurring Monthly Gift | $165.50
Make your annual commitment through smaller monthly contributions.

  • Donation amount: $165.50
  • Donation frequency: MONTHLY
  • You will be charged $165.50 each month, totaling $1,986 per year.
  • Payments continue automatically until you cancel.

All four giving options include the same 1986 Club membership benefits.

FORTY FORWARD
$40 Per Month

Celebrate 40 years of changing lives with a monthly gift that helps the Reno Rodeo Foundation provide dependable support throughout the year.

Your generosity helps provide clothing, comfort, meaningful experiences, and educational opportunities for children and young adults across Northern Nevada.

To participate:

  • Donation amount: $40
  • Donation frequency: MONTHLY
  • You will be charged $40 each month until you cancel.

Your ongoing contribution provides $480 in support over 12 months.

THE 400
$400 One-Time or Recurring Gift

Be one of 400 individuals, families, and businesses coming together to celebrate our 40th anniversary and help strengthen the Foundation's four core programs.

Choose how you'd like to participate:

Option 1: One-Time Gift | $400

  • Donation amount: $400
  • Donation frequency: ONE-TIME
  • You will be charged once.

Option 2: Recurring Annual Gift | $400

  • Donation amount: $400
  • Donation frequency: ANNUAL
  • You will be charged $400 once each year until you cancel.

Both options count toward our goal of bringing together 400 supporters.

STEP 2: Select the Correct Donation Amount and Frequency

After choosing your giving opportunity, enter or select the corresponding donation amount on the form.

If you're making a one-time gift: Select ONE-TIME to make a single contribution without future automatic charges.

If you're making a recurring gift: Select the ONGOING option and choose the appropriate frequency:

  • MONTHLY: Your selected donation amount will be charged every month.
  • QUARTERLY: Your selected donation amount will be charged every three months.
  • ANNUAL: Your selected donation amount will be charged once each year.

IMPORTANT: The amount you select is the amount you will be charged each time, not your total annual contribution.

For example, selecting $165.50 with a monthly frequency means you will be charged $165.50 every month, not $165.50 for the entire year.

STEP 3: Understand How Recurring Donations Work

All recurring donations continue automatically until you choose to cancel them.

Recurring donations do not automatically stop after one year, after four quarterly payments, or after twelve monthly payments.

This applies to The 1986 Club, Forty Forward, and The 400.

If you want to make a single contribution without future automatic charges, please select ONE-TIME rather than a recurring frequency.

You may cancel your recurring donation at any time.

STEP 4: Review and Complete Your Donation

Before submitting your gift, please double-check:

  • Giving opportunity: Have you selected the campaign you want to support?
  • Donation amount: Is the amount correct?
  • Donation frequency: Have you selected ONE-TIME, MONTHLY, QUARTERLY, or ANNUAL as intended?
  • Recurring charges: If you've selected recurring giving, do you understand that your donation will repeat automatically until canceled?

Once you've confirmed your selections, complete your contact and payment information and submit your gift.
