Rescue Readers (Adult Readers Program)
Want to unwind after a long day and at the same time give back to our homeless animals? Bring your favorite book and cozy up with one of our cats in our community cat rooms or read outside an adoptable dogs cage. Be sure to bring a cozy blanket.
By reading to an animal, it helps de-stress them and bring them the comfort and normality of hearing a human voice while they're at the shelter. It will lift their spirits and yours too by knowing you are helping them!
