Great Lakes Christian College holds an annual lectureship called Restoration Appreciation Week at which two speakers deliver informative and appreciative messages about the Restoration heritage from which the College comes.
Current students, alumni, and the public are all welcome to listen to the presentations.

Dr. Sam Long - GLCC Professor
Dr. Long (PhD Asbury Theological Seminary) is the Professor of Old Testament and Dean of Online Education at Great Lakes Christian College. His academic interests include Old Testament worship and cult, as well as comparative ancient Near Eastern religion. He has been co-hosting the weekly After Class Podcast since 2018.

Dr. Heather Gorman - New Testament Scholar
Dr. Gorman (PhD Baylor University) is Associate Professor of New Testament at Abilene Christian University. She co-authored Lunchroom Theology: Pushing Tables Together in a Fractured World and has published other works focusing on narrative and rhetorical approaches of the New Testament. She has served in various leadership capacities in the local church.
