At HoPe, we believe every young person has the potential to become a leader who transforms their community.

Each year, we select four students from every partner high school to serve as HoPe Legacy Leaders—a year-long leadership development experience that equips students with the confidence, character, and skills to lead with purpose.

Throughout the year, Legacy Leaders receive leadership training, mentorship, and opportunities to grow alongside peers from across the country. They then take what they learn back to their schools, where they lead their local HoPe Chapter by organizing meetings, developing other student leaders, creating service opportunities, strengthening school culture, and building communities where Hispanic and Latino students can lead, serve, and thrive.

One of the highlights of their journey is the HoPe Youth Leadership Summit, an immersive leadership experience that inspires students, deepens their leadership skills, and prepares them for the year ahead. But the Summit is only the beginning. The true impact happens when these students return home and put their leadership into action.

This school year, HoPe Legacy Leaders will serve in more than 90 high schools across seven states, collectively impacting over 7,000 students.
