Join faculty and graduate students for a lunchtime conversation on the theology of work with Dr. Ben Witherington, III, Professor of New Testament at Asbury Theological Seminary. In his talk, “Work: A Kingdom Perspective,” Dr. Witherington will explore how Scripture reframes vocation, ambition, and everyday labor in light of God’s reign, with opportunity for Q&A and table discussion. Sponsored by the Rice Christian Study Center, this luncheon invites participants from all disciplines to consider how a Christian vision of work might shape their research, teaching, and life in the university; registration is required.
