Join faculty and graduate students for a lunchtime conversation on the theology of work with Dr. Ben Witherington, III, Professor of New Testament at Asbury Theological Seminary. In his talk, “Work, Calling, and the Way of Jesus,” Dr. Witherington will explore how Scripture reframes vocation, ambition, and everyday labor in light of God’s reign, with opportunity for Q&A and table discussion. Sponsored by the Rice Christian Study Center, this luncheon invites participants from all disciplines to consider how a Christian vision of work might shape their research, teaching, and life in the university; registration is required.
