Today, he lives with his eldest daughter, who supports them by selling handmade goods, their only source of income since Carlos can no longer work.

Since his amputation, even the simplest daily tasks have become a challenge. What once felt routine now requires effort, patience, and resilience.

The loss took a deep emotional toll. Carlos fell into depression, struggling to adjust to this new reality. But little by little, with the encouragement of those around him, he began to rise, holding onto hope and searching for a way forward.

He knows that a prosthesis will change everything: a chance to stand again, regain his independence, return to his daily life, and move forward with dignity.
