At Habitat for Humanity of the River Valley, we believe every family deserves the opportunity to build a safe, stable, and self-reliant future. But for many families, the dream of owning their own home remains out of reach. That's where we--and you--come in.

Habitat for Humanity partners with families in need of affordable and safe housing to build homes that provide a foundation for success. Through our unique model, Habitat homeowners work alongside over 800 volunteers each year to construct their home, contributing "sweat equity" while taking an active role in creating a better future.

These families then purchase homes through affordable mortgages, empowering them to achieve financial stability and independence. To date, we have partnered with over 300 families locally to make the dream of homeownership a reality.

Owning your own home profoundly transforms lives. Statistics show that homeownership fosters better health, improved safety, more substantial educational outcomes, and better economic opportunities. It provides children with the stability they need to thrive and successed and helps communities break the cycle of poverty.
