Join us for a day of spooktacular fun at our Run Fur Fun 5k on October 26, 2024! Our Run Fur Fun 5k starts and ends at Odell Brewing Company. Registration includes a race T-shirt, post-race beer, generously donated by Odell Brewing Company, and a Snooze pancake! Don't forget to wear a costume for the costume contest, enjoy the eclectic tunes of The Sugar Britches, and have lots of fun with fellow animal-and beer-loving racers.
All proceeds from this race benefit Animal Friends Alliance and the more than 13,000 cats and dogs we help each year.
This year, we are adding a "Fun Run" category to the race! It is open to all ages with a section just for kids! This category would be best for younger kids, people walking, people with strollers, and non-competitive runners. You will not be timed, but you are still welcome to the free pancakes and beer at the end!
The timed race start is 10:00 am and the Fun Run will start at 10:05 am. Packet pick-up will be available during the week prior to the race and on race day; packet pick-up information will be provided to race participants. The Odell Brewing main parking lot entrance will be inaccessible due to the race course. Please enter onto their overflow lot from Buckingham St. More info on this will be sent to runners the week of the race.
Same day race day registration will be available from 8 am - 9:30 am prior to race time. If you sign up after 9:30 am day of, we cannot guarantee you will be in the timed category of the race.
The non-binary category is for those who don't feel the male or female category fits them. We believe trans women are women, and trans men are men, and that all participants should choose their race category based on their own determination of what is best for them.
The costume contest will take place after the awards. The categories are "Best Individual Costume," "Best Dog Costume," "Best Canine & Human Duo," and "Best Group Costume." Anyone is welcome to participate. Sign ups during packet pick up and race day.
