Run Fur Fun 2026

About This Event

Join us for a day of spooktacular fun at our Run Fur Fun 5k on Saturday, October 24, 2026! Our Run Fur Fun 5k starts and ends at Odell Brewing Company in Fort Collins. Don't forget to wear a costume for the costume contest, enjoy the eclectic tunes of The Sugar Britches, and have lots of fun with fellow animal and beer-loving racers. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome to join in on the fun as well!

All proceeds from this race benefit Animal Friends Alliance and the thousands of cats and dogs we help each year.

Tickets are on sale now! Early bird discounts now through September 30! Don't miss out on this frightfully good time for a great cause!

Categories

  • Timed: Includes race bib with official time and opportunity to win an award
  • Fun Run: For people 12 and older who don't want an official time. Best suited for people walking and non-competitive runners
  • Kids Fun Run: For kids 12 and younger who don't want an official time

The non-binary category is for those who don't feel the male or female category fits them. We believe trans women are women, and trans men are men, and that all participants should choose their race category based on their own determination of what is best for them.

What's Included

Besides access to all the fun, festivities, and live music, each registration (Timed and Fun Run) includes a race t-shirt (while supplies last), sticker, race bag, ice cream from Blue Bell Ice Cream, complimentary pancake from Snooze A.M Eatery, and beer from Odell (21+).

Course

The 5K down-and-back course kicks off just west of Odell’s entrance and winds along the scenic Poudre Trail, offering beautiful views running along the Cache la Poudre River. There will also be water stations at the turnaround point and finish line back at Odell. (Map below)

Packet pick up will also be available Saturday, October 24th from 8:30 am - 9:30 am. The race will start at 10 am.
