About This Event

Tuesday, 7/21, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

What is a trauma informed leader and what does this approach to leadership look like? July’s session of the Trauma Informed Workplaces Training Series will offer an in depth exploration of trauma informed leadership and how to utilize these principles within your program or organization.

Participants will learn how, as supervisors, they can support their staff who may be coming into this work with past trauma or lived experience and their role in helping prevent re-traumatization and vicarious trauma. Come prepared to discuss, reflect, and share insights and challenges in a supportive, healing centered space.

In this 2 hour training, we will:

  • Discuss the importance and benefits of trauma informed leadership in the workplace
  • Identify difficult conversation topics you have with staff and how to navigate these
  • Explore your approach to leadership and managing power dynamics
  • Share ideas and strategies for making supervision meetings trauma informed, offering feedback, and creating a supportive workplace environment for staff

This training is offered free of charge - donations are always appreciated!
