Presented by Safe Crossings Foundation

2026 Safe Crossings Foundation Annual Luncheon

About This Event

While a child’s life will never be the same after the death of a loved one, we can work together to help grieving youth find futures with joy and security that all young people deserve.

Please join us for a meaningful luncheon highlighting the impactful programs Safe Crossings Foundation funds for grieving children. Hear directly from families touched by these services, honor community champions of grief support, and learn how your support makes a difference.

Now more than ever, grieving children need our support. Thanks to your generosity, they’re not facing their grief alone. Your support provides comfort, connection, and healing during one of life’s hardest moments.

When: Thursday, October 15, 2026 from 11:00am – 1:00pm

Doors will open at 11am. Program and lunch will be held from 12pm - 1pm.

Where: Sheraton Grand Seattle, 1400 6th Ave, Seattle, WA 98101

Meet our Keynote Speaker: Isaiah Thomas

Join us for a special lunch with former University of Washington legend and two-time NBA All-Star Isaiah Thomas. Isaiah will reflect on his journey on and off the court, including navigating the profound loss of both of his sisters, Chyna and Quisha, and the role family, community, and perseverance have played throughout his life. Through his own experiences with grief and adversity, Isaiah will share what he’s learned about continuing to move forward, supporting the people around us, and finding strength in the moments that challenge us most.
