Build your Spiritual Resolve

Join His Holiness Swami Vidyadhishananda, a Himalayan monk and Sanskritist, for a sacred Sunday morning centred on the theme of spiritual resilience and resolve amidst these unstable times ahead.

Through direct experience of guided meditation, along with words of wisdom and spiritual advice, you will take home meaningful guidance about spiritual resolve and resilience amidst the difficult times ahead.

This fellowship invites you to discover the steady ground of spiritual wisdom and contemplative practice, timeless anchors that hold firm through any challenge.

Our morning will open with sublime Sanskrit chanting by His Holiness, followed by:

  • Guided Meditation: Experience a 50-minute guided meditation from the ancient Sanskrit-based Aham-graha spiritual philosophy tradition.

  • Words of Wisdom: Listen to teachings from indigenous Vedic wisdom on how timeless spiritual principles can guide you through difficulty. Drawing on themes related to spiritual values that overcome fear, His Holiness will offer a tangible framework and correct understanding about how to build resilience during growing uncertain times.

  • Blessing Line: Receive personal hands-on blessings and share a few words with His Holiness Swami Vidyadhishananda Giri assisted by Sri Swami Asimananda Giri.

A light Vegetarian lunch will be offered in the foyer during the blessing line.

About His Holiness

His Holiness Swami Vidyadhishananda is a Himalayan siddha monk, who hails from unbroken lineages of the combined heritage of rishi sages and nath meditation adepts. He has directly learnt the Himalayan Kriyayoga meditation system from Tryambaknāth, (popularly known as Mahavatar Babaji).

His Holiness is developing Hansavedas Sambhala (online coursework) based on the teachings from Jñanā-gañja, a siddha enclave commonly known as Sambhala located in Tibet, east of Limpiadhura Pass bordering India.

He is among the very few adepts outside of India who has been awarded the degree of DLitt et Phil (Mahāmahopādhyāya) by the erstwhile President of the Association of Indian Universities and by the Sanskrit scholars of Calcutta, India. The degree was conferred in recognition of his meditative interpretation, scholarly analysis, and ability to articulate the philosophical nuances of Sanskrit literature.

Helpful Tips for Attendees

Attending a fellowship with a traditional monk and a living saint may be a new experience for many. Below are a few helpful guidelines about what to expect.

  • Doors open at 9:30am so you can check-in, use the restroom and get seated before the MC (emcee) begins.
  • Maintain reverential silence whenever possible to foster a quiet environment. If speaking is needed, speak quietly.
  • Kindly wear modest attire (avoid tank tops and shorts) befitting the meditative ambience.
  • You will be asked to check in at the registration table before entering. Kindly be patient and unrushed.
  • Please silence cell phones during the Fellowship.
  • Lunch will be served upon conclusion of the discourse.
  • You may greet and receive blessings from His Holiness at the end of the fellowship during the blessing line, but more involved spiritual questions should be sent by email to quest@hansavedas.org.

Child & Youth Attendance

Sitting in fellowship with a monk is a quiet, contemplative experience. This can be challenging for young children. Please thoughtfully consider if your child will be comfortable sitting for 2+ hours in silence. Typically this can be challenging for children under the age of 15. Call or text the Nonprofit at 909-543-6003 if you have questions about your child attending.

Cooperative Responsibility for Wellness

We are committed to the health and wellness of the community and as such we are sharing some gentle guidelines and precautions to ensure that all feel comfortable in the fellowship space.

  • If you are feeling unwell, please refrain from attending. This includes feeling fatigue or having a runny nose, coughing, sore throat, fever or flu symptoms.
  • Follow basic infection prevention and control practices by regularly washing hands with soap and water or with an essential oil, and by covering your cough or sneeze with a tissue or your inner elbow.
  • We will keep windows/doors ajar while meeting indoors, to the extent possible.
