About This Event
Join us for a hands-on volunteer workday focused on removing invasive plant species and restoring our local landscape. Invasive plants crowd out native species, reduce biodiversity, and impact the health of our urban forest. With your help, we can make a real difference.
Volunteers will work alongside staff to identify and remove common invasive species while learning why these plants are harmful and how to manage them. This is a great opportunity for beginners and anyone interested in gaining practical environmental stewardship skills.
All tools and guidance will be provided. Please wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Spots may be limited, so be sure to register in advance.
