Presented by Savannah Tree Foundation

Taxon Crawl

Registration ends today at 6:59pm EDT

About This Event

Join Savannah Tree Foundation for an evening Taxon Crawl through downtown led by ISA Certified Arborist and plant educator, Kathryn Erickson. This beginner friendly experience is perfect for anyone curious about trees with no prior knowledge needed.

We will start with an optional happy hour at Savoy Society before walking to Colonial Park Cemetery, where we will spend most of our time learning and exploring.

Participants will receive materials to create their own plant ID books and learn simple ways to identify common tree species. Lawn chairs are recommended for a relaxed and hands on experience.

Take advantage of Savannah’s open container laws and bring a drink along for the walk.

Spots are limited and advance registration is required.
