Kids in Nature: Outdoor Summer Camps for 2026:
- Watercolor Camp: Monday - Wednesday, July 6-8, 9am-12pm
- For children ages 9-13
- Join local artist Debbie Campbell for a three‑day watercolor camp filled with color and creativity. Young artists will learn to paint with confidence as they explore techniques like blending, layering, and creating beautiful washes. Each day, campers take inspiration from the vibrant flowers, trees, and landscapes of The Fells gardens, turning their observations into expressive watercolor artwork.
- Cost: $125. Scholarships are available. Advance registration required. All materials provided.
- Art in the Garden: Monday-Wednesday, July 13-15, 9am-12pm
- For children ages 8-11
- Art in the Garden is a joyful, hands‑on summer camp where kids explore creativity and nature side by side. Each day blends imaginative art projects with outdoor discovery, giving campers the chance to paint, build, and create using inspiration—and materials—from the landscape around them. Over this three‑day adventure, campers will wander the gardens and trails of The Fells, dig into simple gardening activities, craft nature‑based artwork, and learn about the plants and wildlife that make the outdoors come alive.

- Nature Explorers Camp: Monday-Wednesday, July 20-22, 9am-12pm
- For children ages 6-10
- Come investigate the wild side of The Fells to learn secrets of the plants and animals that call it home! Dip your toes in the stream and scoop up aquatic insects and explore the mysteries of the forest. During our three days of adventure, we will explore nature’s playground in the forest, stream, meadow and lake. Nature Explorers camp is run in collaboration with the Lake Sunapee Protective Association (LSPA).
