Foraging Jams & Jellies
Saturday, November 14th
$12/person – Program is open to participants 10 years old and older
10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Join us on an endeavor to find a positive use for native & invasive plants as we share several different examples of foraged items that can be used to make jelly or jam. We will learn how to identify the plants before we harvest their fruits and learn how to create jelly using them. The type of jam/jelly will be determined closer to the date based on what has been or can be foraged.
Please wear closed-toed shoes and appropriate clothing for the weather and for being outdoors, if you would like to forage your own fruit when the program is over.
(The outdoor portion of this event will be dependent on the weather & time.)
