Guided Meditation Trail Walk

About This Event

Guided Meditation Trail Walk

Thursday, October 8, 2026
6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
$5/particpant

Join us to walk the 13 reflective stations on the trail, stopping to contemplate how nature grounds us in mind, body, and spirit. You'll glimpse the labyrinth on our walk. We won't have time to stop for more than a moment, but you can return to go on one of our monthly guided labyrinth walks. We'll plan to spend about an hour on the trail, then gather back at the barn to enjoy light snacks as the sun sets.

Led by Kate Kallmes, a Shepherd's Corner employee who is studying ecotheology at the Methodist Theological School in Ohio. Please wear appropriate shoes, as the path is in the woods and is on uneven ground. In case of rain, we'll gather and hold the program inside.

Read what the late Thich Nhat Hanh, the revered spiritual leader and peace activist, wrote about walking in meditation: mindful walking.
