Welcome winter!
Come learn about the Winter Solstice and how native creatures prepare for the colder times ahead.
There will be winter-themed centers inside the building, including a cookie decorating station & a craft. At 6:30, we will head to the woods together to look for signs of seasonal change and enjoy the special night. This evening is suitable for both families and adults.
Dress for the weather. It will be dark when we are walking on the unimproved trails. If you have a red-light flashlight, feel free to bring it. We will have a few to share. (The red light will allow for better night vision as we walk.)
Spaces are limited. Please register by December 15th.
If you are able, bring something to share with the local food pantries.
