We welcome for the weekend, Dr. Yizhar Hess as the Scholar in Residence. Dr. Hess is the Vice Chairman of the World Zionist Organization and the senior representative of the Conservative Movement's MERCAZ party at the national institutions in Jerusalem. He will be speaking on what Israel looks like after October 7 and the role of Jewish communities around the world in shaping and supporting a healing vision.
Hess will be joining us for Friday night services and will be offering a teaching. He will be our Shabbat speaker Saturday, followed by a learn after lunch. Please RSVP for lunch.
