Sarah Wolozin is the Director of Open Documentary Lab at MIT, which has been at the forefront of exploring tools for immersive storytelling. Projection Mapping is an immersive technique to augment public space by projecting imagery onto surfaces such as buildings, rock formations, or statues to transform objects into dynamic narratives. Through the bending of light, visuals are precisely mapped to fit the exact spatial contours of physical objects, creating illusions of movement, depth, or texture. Wolozin will present and discuss examples of projection mapping from around the world.
Instructor: Sara Wolozin and Greenhouse Media
2 Sessions: Monday, December 21, 2026 and Wednesday, January 20, 2027 - 7:00 - 9:00 PM
Cost: $60, $40 Scribe members
