Join us for an infomative and fascinating lecture on caring for citrus varieties with renowned horticulturist, John Clements. Clements brings 46 years of expertise to your garden. As a former nursery owner & Director of Gardens at the San Diego Botanic Garden, the San Diego Horticultural Society recognized John as Horticulturalist of the Year in 2022. Now, as Director of Horticulture for Drab to Fab, John harnesses his knowledge and passion to establish sustainable, thriving landscapes across San Diego.

Clements will address best practices in caring for citrus plants, and will demonstrate proper care techniques using La Jolla Historical Society's very own thriving orchard on its front lawn. Learn more about this unique orchard and artwork HERE.

Guests will enjoy light refreshments. Please note that this event takes place outdoors.
