The Send It Foundation provides outdoor adventures for young adults (ages 21-40) cancer patients and survivors, removing them from their cancer experience and creating the space to play, connect, and have fun in the outdoors. Adventures are designed around activities like skiing, surfing, biking, and climbing; building a vital community through shared experience.
At Send It, we believe in the power of the outdoors and the strength of peer support. The camaraderie built on the chairlift and the trail extends into everyday life, empowering participants to embrace their journey with renewed strength and resilience. Our programs are provided free of charge, fully funded by the generous support of our community of donors, partners, and volunteers.
Since our inaugural trip in 2015, Send It has led over 75 adventures, impacting the lives of over 700 young adults facing cancer. The need for our programs is growing, with nearly 90,000 young adults diagnosed with cancer annually in the U.S. Our waitlist now exceeds 700 eager adventurers.
