Spring Forward Gala

Dear Community Members,

For over 68 years, SADC has supported movement experiences for people of all ages. Each week, over 1,000 dancers participate in youth classes, adult classes, and rehearsals. We also offer fiscal sponsorship for Bay Area artists, as well as year-round performances, community partnerships, and collaborations.

For our Spring Forward Gala, we are emphasizing a key part of the dance experience — the studios' floors! “Meet Us On the Dance Floor” as we raise $60,000 for a new marley floor and a new sprung sub-floor system in Studios 1, 2, and 4. Thousands of dancers, literally, will benefit from your generous donations and sponsorship. Additionally, this gala will support the accessibility project for the 2704 Alcatraz Avenue facility and the organization's ongoing sustainability campaign.
