About the Presenter
Jef Hewitt is an accomplished magician who has earned numerous accolades for his performances, including the Florida Magicians Association Close-Up Magic Championship and one of the first Mark Wilson Magic Awards.
A former member of the renowned Magic Castle, Hewitt has performed magic around the world and has even opened for singer-songwriter Don McLean, best known for the classic song “American Pie.”
Hewitt is also a former research analyst whose recent work has focused on the magicians who were popular during the Old West period. That research inspired his latest act, Magic of the West, which combines historical storytelling, fascinating characters, and live magic to bring the Golden Era of Magic in the American West back to life.
