Each year, the men of the Missouri Eta chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon at Missouri State University hosts a special charitable week-long event called SigEp Sweetheart. The purpose of the event is to raise philanthropic funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks, our national fraternity's charity, and the Missouri Eta Educational Foundation which helps fund our annual Balanced Man Scholarship. However, we also use the namesake to name the next SigEp Sweetheart of the chapter. This year's event will include multiple social media events, a kick-off barbecue, the annual SigEp Sweetheart Pageant and much more! Displaying the core values of virtue, diligence and brotherly love, the men of Sigma Phi Epsilon have set our goal for $15,000 to donate.
As a chapter, we have the utmost respect for all of the organizations that we work with, and we hope to continue our relationships with them in the future. This year we have decided to, once again, donate the proceeds from SigEp Sweetheart Week to our fraternity’s national philanthropy, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks.
