There's nothing better than a cozy afteroon with a book - unless it's reading alongside other library lovers in a celebration of our Right to Read!

Join us for the ultimate introvert's outing - an afternoon of quiet reading, delicious mocktails, snacks from our friends at Kiely's Cooking, and community with other booklovers in the Ezra Cornell Room at Tompkins County Public Library.

You'll get to explore the library after hours, tour behind the scenes, learn about unusual services offered at the library - when you're not reading, of course! You can also sign up to get a library card, learn how you can support TCPL, and check out what others are reading.

You can bring books to swap with other readers too - and whatever's unclaimed at the end of the party will be donated to the Friends of TCPL for their fall booksale!  If you forget your book, you can also borrow one, on the spot, from a curated selection from TCPL.
