About This Event

Join us on Wednesday, September 10 at Assembly Hall for an unforgettable night honoring the heartbeat of Austin: our local music community.

Featuring performances by beloved indie-rock star Ben Kweller, THEBROSFRESH, and more, Music for the Mind will be hosted by celebrated hotelier, designer, and longtime arts advocate, Liz Lambert, and honoring Steve Wertheimer, founder of the Continental Club and C-Boys, with the Sims Ellison Impact Award.

This exclusive, intimate gathering of 200 notable attendees will feature a three-course dinner, a live performance from a special guest, and a silent auction filled with one-of-a-kind items and experiences — all in support of SIMS Foundation’s mission to provide mental health and substance use recovery services to musicians, music industry professionals, and their families.

Dress code is Texas Formal.

Celebrating 30 years of impact in Austin, SIMS Foundation has served more than 25,000 music industry professionals through more than 300,000 sessions of support, investing $50M into the emotional wellness of our music community.
