Sitka WhaleFest celebrates marine life through science, art, culture, and adventure. Attendees of all ages and backgrounds leave WhaleFest with a deeper connection to the ocean.
The core of Sitka WhaleFest is the three-day symposium, where scientists and knowledge-bearers share the latest research and learning about marine life. This symposium is for everyone: speakers highlight the relevance and accessibility of their knowledge to people from all walks of life.
Lectures take place at 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00 at Harrigan Centennial Hall on November 6-8. Please check sitkawhalefest.org for more information about speakers and their talks.
All three-day symposium pass holders are invited to a special reception at the Sitka Sound Science Center on the evening of Friday, November 6. More information will be available as that date approaches.
Online registration will close at noon on Wednesday, November 4. If you wish to register for the full symposium after this time, please visit us in person at the registration desk at Harrigan Centennial Hall, 11:00am-1:00pm, November 6-8.
