Join Community Sailing New Orleans as we kick off the spring sailing season on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 with an unforgettable evening of sunset views, great company, and a spectacular fireworks show over Lake Pontchartrain — generously sponsored by our friends at Gulf Coast Bank & Trust to commemorate the occasion.

Celebrate the start of Wednesday Night Racing from our waterfront home at the Alexander Community Sailing Center with sips, snacks, and balcony access overlooking the lake — the perfect vantage point to watch all the action!

Ticket Options

PARTY-ONLY TICKET – $45
Entry at 6:30 PM. Includes sips and snacks and balcony access overlooking Lake Pontchartrain to watch the race action and enjoy the fireworks show.

SUNSET SAIL + PARTY TICKET – $65 (SOLD OUT)
Everything included with the party — plus take the experience to the next level.

Enjoy early entry at 5:00 PM and a 90-minute sunset sail departing at 5:30 PM. You’ll get front-row, on-the-water views of the race, then return to shore to join the celebration and watch the fireworks show. Space is limited to just 20 guests for this exclusive sail.

The event concludes around 8:30 PM (or at the end of the fireworks show). *Please note that all times are approximate and fireworks timing depends on sunset.
