Thank you so much for your past support of SouthWest Metro Educational Foundation through your participation in our Annual Enriching Lives Through Education Gala!
In order to insure everyone’s health and safety from COVID-19, we have decided not to host our gala this year. However, this year, we hope you will join us in the SouthWest Metro’s Great Stay Home Together event and support our students from the comfort of your home. Our goal this year is $25,000 which is about what we typically net from our gala.
Since the foundation’s inception in 2004, we have awarded nearly $200,000 in scholarships thanks in large part to your investment in our students and community. During our 2019/2020 school year, we awarded 24 students with $30,000 in scholarships and provided more than $5,000 in grants to support student incentives and activities in SouthWest Metro Intermediate District 288!
We understand the COVID-19 pandemic is impacting us all in different ways. We hope you will renew your support. If you are unable to match your previous donation, please, provide what feels comfortable.
In the face of this pandemic, we continue to keep our students engaged in hybrid and distance learning through our student incentives grants and support our students pursuing their post-secondary goals through scholarships. Now more than ever we need your renewed support!
