About the Artist:
Johnny Britt is an international recording artist, singer, trumpeter, songwriter, producer, and author. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, he studied at the prestigious Conservatoire de Versailles in Paris, France, and was later hired by Otis Williams of The Temptations as their youngest-ever musical director. He served as music producer for the Emmy Award–winning The Temptations miniseries and has received numerous honors, including the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award in 2024.
Johnny never imagined that mental health challenges would affect him and his family, but they did. His song “C’est La Vie” was inspired by his daughter Mariah’s mental health journey from ages 18 to 24. By sharing this deeply personal experience with students, families, and the community, Johnny hopes to bring awareness, hope, and strength to others facing similar challenges. He is excited to partner with EN-RICH-MENT to bring this powerful message of perseverance, music, and not giving up to Northeast Ohio.
